This gorgeous pair got married at Leeds town hall in March 2023 and I was lucky enough to be with them from the early morning right through to the end of the night. The thing that struck me most for the duration of the day was the joy. These guys didn't stop laughing, and it was infectious to say the least. I had a sore face from smiling so much for days!

I joined Emma and her two very excited daughters at the Clayton Hotel in Leeds for some gorgeous getting ready shots, before we made our way to The Civic hall for the ceremony. If you're unfamiliar with the Civic hall, it's a beautiful spot. It's huge stone steps provide the perfect back drop for confetti and group shots, and Emma & Stephens guests really knew how to take a group shot!

Emma & Stephen's reception was held at Roundhay Golf club, and what a party it was! They were joined in the afternoon and evening by my personal favourites, the Hope Street busing band. The guests mingled and grazed on some beautiful cold food platters whilst the band played some stripped back acoustic tunes ahead of the evening starting and I had a ball seeing all the smiles as old friends got together to share the love in the room.

The evening started with a bang as Emma & Stephen's guests filled the dance floor and they didn't stop all night! I love being booked to stay for the dance floor at a wedding because some of the moments you can capture on film are pure gold. There were some real movers and shakers at this one, and a gorgeous blended family that got along like a house on fire.

A long and beautiful day, chock full of love and excellent vibes was rounded off with a very brave sparkler shot at the end of the night. Emma trusted her nearest and dearest with the mega responsibility of waving sparklers around that beautiful dress, and I'm so glad she did, because they nailed it! I loved every second of Emma & Stephen's wedding day, and I won't forget it for a long time to come.
